Backgound and experience

Bruce has over 30 years of experience in the financial services industry, focusing on equity management and portfolio asset allocation strategies.  Most recently, he was Managing Director and Investment Strategist with Citigroup's Private Bank headquartered in New York City.  There, Bruce was responsible for the firm's investment business in the Northeast United States.  In addition to personally managing a multi-billion dollar portfolio of investment assets for high net worth clients, he also served on the firm's senior management committee.

Prior to joining Citi Private Bank, Bruce served as Senior Vice President of Portfolio Advisory Services for the private banking division of Bank of America.  At Bank of America he was the senior portfolio manager for clients throughout the United States and Europe and also served as a member of the firm's investment policy committee.

In addition to traditional equity and fixed income investments, Bruce has extensive experience in managing portfolios of private equity, real estate, and hedge funds.  He has also utilized a variety of derivative strategies including interest rate and currency swaps/hedges and equity option overlays.

Bruce holds a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from Case Institute of Technology and a Master's degree in Management from Case Western Reserve University's Weatherhead School of Management.  He has also earned the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation.

Away from the office

After spending most of his career on the East Coast, Bruce and his wife now live in Canton, Ohio.  He has three children and enjoys travel, music, fitness training, and economic history.  He currently serves as a Councilman for the Village of Hills and Dales.  In addition, Bruce is active in providing personal coaching and career mentoring to inner-city high school students in the Canton area.
